Restaurant in Bad Waldsee
Here, the chef himself is at the cooker, and you can taste it. The food is honest, down-to-earth and made with fresh ingredients from our home and garden.
Whether homemade herb spaetzle, roast onion or vitello à la Horst - the KREUZ serves Swabian cuisine with character. We are particularly proud of our fresh herbs from our own garden. From fragrant rosemary to delicate lemon thyme, they flavour every dish. And because the diversity of nature is important to us, we have a new herb theme every month that conjures up fresh ideas on the plates.
History of the Landgasthof KREUZ in Bad Waldsee
We've been around since before Columbus! Sounds strange? But it's true. The KREUZ was first mentioned in a document in 1472 - 20 years before Columbus discovered America.
Since then, people have been eating, drinking, laughing and staying here. What was once an inn with a farm has become a hotel with a heart. The old beams tell of the past, our modern rooms and the herb garden of today and in the centre of it all: honest hospitality for over 500 years.
